Puerto Galera Part 2

This is the continuation of my adventure in Puerto Galera. So if you want to read the first part click HERE. During night time, me and my friends have gone to souvenir shops near the beach. These items really fascinated me because of their colourful patterns if captured as images this way. Also I am going to post these on my instagram anyways so. We roamed around in loads of souvenir shops.

After we’ve gone and bought some goods. We watched a great performance by the locals there. They were dancing. Not just dancing, but dancing with fire. This kind of performance is known as “fire dancing”. The vlog that I shot is a bit messy and was captured by my mobile, and I changed the music background to a sound that I think suits it more. I suggest that you repeat watching this for 5 times. So did you felt a little "bit high" while watching this vlog of mine? Just kidding.

What do you specially do on weekends?

Sometimes I go to the countryside where my Grand Parents live where there is nature, beach, and the sea.

Have you ever thought of being full time blogger?

Yes I have but I could not. Being in the field of science and health care and being a very creative person I just have to divide my time in the things I love. I feel so weird that I am both a nerd and an artsy person. I am me. I am eccentric.

Which is your favorite place to visit?

I have no favourite place currently. But the world is so vast that I want to discover every place I can.

Homemade food or street food?

I pick homemade food. Because even if I indulge myself sometimes in street food, I totally know that unhygienic street food is a source for contagious diseases. Yes you can get hepatitis from eating street foods! So do be careful!

What was your first thought when you woke up in this morning ?

My first thought was “Wow why did I wake up this late!” That was probably from blogging.

What cheers you up ?

Watching tv series really cheers me up! Especially tv series that are mind provoking. I would never watch boring things.

What do you order or not order at restaurant ?

I am not a really picky eater. So I can order anything.

What question do you hate to answer ?

If that question is an awkward question I would really hate it!

Have you ever dance on stage?

Yes. That was back then. In school everything is mandatory.

What have you always wanted? did you get it?

There are a lot of things that I would want. I am still working on it though.

Puerto Galera Part 1

I attended a Birthday celebration of my friend. Luckily it is in Puerto Galera. They have a beach resort there, so the stay for a night is free. I enjoyed my stay in Puerto Galera. Everything is like bliss. The sun, the sea, the white sand, the beach, and the nature were all so peaceful and calming. Since it is always sunny here in my country there will be no winter and coldness. There is a little bit of typhoon and rain here and there but it is always sunny in a tropical country. Good thing that it is also only 45 minutes to 1 hour trip by the sea from my house. It was loads of fun.

If I will travel back again in this wonderful place and if my stay will be longer, I would want to do loads of things like island hopping, do some snorkelling, learn scuba diving, I will feed the fishes, sightseeing the beaches and the nature. Gosh! There are so many things to do in Puerto Galera.

We were taking some pictures when these photobombers just joined in, it was so funny! Probably they were tourists. We did not even know that they were included in the picture it just magically appeared in my camera without even me knowing, it was so funny when some photobombers surprise you!

Anyways my readers if you want to spend holiday and you desire endless summer, come here in my country in Puerto Galera, Philippines.

Sisterhood of The World Blogger Award

What made you decide to start blogging?

My cousin Shaira Manalo of missdream-girl was a blogger before me she always have bragging rights at our house when it comes to blogging. Yeah, we live at the same house, we are very close cousins too. Well me and my sister Aimee Bustillo of Capturing Life Memoirs was encouraged by her to make a blog.

How did you came up with your blog name and blog url?

I came up with my blog name as, well let me break it to you. Style is because I integrate my blog as lifestyle blog. Eccentric is because that is just how my personality is. Fashion is because I love fashion of course. So all in all Style+Eccentric+Fashion= Styleccentric Fashion (SCF). By the way my current blog url is just my name www.alyssamoniquebustillo.co.nr and if I could further earn more money I'll change it to dot com.

What is your number one blogging DON’T?

For me my number one blogging don't is that one must not plagiarize content from others. Be you. Be original. Be unique.

What are your trade secrets in gaining lots of follower on your social media accounts?

My principle in gaining loads of followers in my social media is if someone follows me I'll follow back. I engage a lot as well or stay active in my social media accounts.

Do you plan your blog post or #OOTD post?

No. When there is an inspiration I just do it. I post using my instincts.

When you were a child what did you want to be when you grew up?

Actually I have no desire of anything in particular as a child. I do not have a picturesque imagery of what I may become in the future when I was a child.

Aside from blogging what are the hobbies you enjoy?

I love music of course I play loads of musical instruments, you could visit my soundcloud if you want. I love watching anime as well.

Do you want to learn any specific languages? Why?

I want to learn Arabic. I am a resident in UAE and yet I still do not know how to speak fluent Arabic. Even if I am currently staying in Philippines I will always comeback there in UAE so I better learn Arabic!

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?
Currently I have no specifics of where I would want to travel. Because honestly I want to travel everywhere!

If you were to give a newbie blogger an advice on blogging, what would it be?
My advice to newbie bloggers is that you should have a well designed template that is both attractive and systematic for promoting your posts and sponsors, and sharing your other social media accounts. When making a post the content should be interesting so that you will gain readership. Your image posts should be colorful and should leave an impression. Lastly one must engage with your readers through comments and be consistently active in your blog.

BU9 PH Bloggers United 9 Philippines

At Whitespace, Makati, I attended 9th Bloggers United sponsored by SMART.

BU9 PH is a bazaar hosted by the most famous iconic bloggers in the Philippines. Iconic famous bloggers sell their brands at lowest of prices.

I had a blast as I had bought some fab items, taken pictures with the famous iconic bloggers and SMART barkada, have a sip of free mocktails in SMART social bar, got freebies from OLX and iflix. So fun!!!
