ROYAL WEDDING COUTURE.....Wedding of Italian Heiress Beatrice Borromeo and Pierre Casiraghi, youngest son of Caroline of Hanover, the Wedding Gowns, Couture + More!

Fashion Heiress: Wedding of Beatirce Borromeo and Pierre Casiraghi in Rocca di Borromeo di Angera, Borromeo Castle, overlooking Lake Maggiore--Bride wore Armani Prive Haute Couture and Alberta Ferretti

Last weekend, Italian heiress/socialite/model Beatrice Borromeo of the Italian Borromeo aristocratic family had a civil ceremony marrying Pierre Casiraghi, the younger son of Princess Caroline of Hanover and nephew to Prince Albert of Monaco--and yes, his late grandmother was Grace Kelly, Princess Grace of Monaco. I covered that civil ceremony HERE and her Valentno Haute Couture blush colored gown. After tying the knot in this lavish ceremony at Monaco's Grimaldi Palace last Saturday, Beatrice and Pierre did it all over again. The aristocratic couple hosted a second wedding--this time a religious ceremony, at a castle owned by the bride's wealthy family on the shores of Italy's Lake Maggiore. And it was a Haute Couture/Fashionista/Royalista wet dream! Let's begin the Royal Wedding Couture...

Wedding Gown: Beatrice Borromeo wore a white lace and silk custom wedding gown from Armani Prive featuring 3/4 length sleeves, a fit-to-flare silhouette and batteau neckline and simple and very elegantly placed silk tulle veil. Armani Prive is the Haute Couture arm of the Armani fashion empire. This custom wedding gown set the Borromeo family back about $100,000+; a drop in the Euro bucket for that family.

Boho Chic Pre-Wedding Night Dinner: Beatrice Brorromeo wore a white lace dress from Italian designer Alberta Ferretti and her Spring 2015 RTW Collection for the Wedding Dinner the night before the big event.

After the religious wedding the day after--where the bride wore the lace Armani Prive wedding gown, there was a Wedding Party/Reception and naturally, the bride had an Gown Change...As is tradition with weddings in her family, the daughter of Count Carlo Ferdinando Borromeo and Countess Paola Marzotto exchanged religious vows on one of the Italian family’s private Borromean Islands, the remote Isolino di San Giovanni.

Arriving to the Party: Beatrice Borromeo and Pierre Casiraghi arrive via boat to their Wedding Reception/Party

After the ceremony, the wedding party moved on to a reception held at Rocca di Borromeo di Angera, Borromeo Castle, a medieval fortress overlooking Lake Maggiore.

WHO's WHO?

*Beatrice is a member of the ancient aristocratic House of Borromeo--a family that has owned the Borromean Islands in Italy since the 16th century.

*She has done some modeling previously but in case you are wondering she really has no job. Hello!! She's a Borromeo socialite!

*And Pierre, well, his Wikipedia states that he's a "businessman" and is part owner of his uncle--Prince Albert's--construction company Engeco. So, yeah, he also doesn't really work. he loves sailing and going to parties. What else would you expect darlings?

Palace Wedding: The civil ceremony itself was an intimate affair, attended by 70 guests and taking place in the reception room reserved for the reigning sovereign's official family functions at the distinctive salmon-pink Prince's Palace (lower photo) and Salon des Glaces (top photo)

ROYAL COUTURE.....Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco Baptize their Twins, Baby Dior, Dior Couture + More!

Royal Couture: Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco (the Princess wore Christian Dior Haute Couture) baptize their twins, Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques, who wore Baby Dior--Cathedral of Monaco

Today was the baptism of Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques--the twin children of Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco. It was a grand event, televised live for all the Monaco population...naturally.

Happy Parents Day: Prince Albert and Prince Charlene of Monaco with their children, Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques--Cathedral of Monaco

View of the Cathedral of Monaco--Baptism Ceremony of Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques of Monaco

The couple were greeted by cheers as they posed for the crowds with their daughter Princess Gabriella and son Prince Jacques outside the Cathedral of Monaco after the ceremony. The twins are exactly five months old today; on December 10th, Princess Charlene gave birth via cesarean section. Despite being the younger, it will be Prince Jacques who succeeds his father on the throne, thanks to Monaco's continued use of Salic law which states that male heirs always take precedence over their older sisters. She did, however, get a title, becoming the Countess of Carlades, while Crown Prince Jacques is styled Marquis of Baux - a name always given to the first born son.

Baby Couture: The twins were dressed in traditional white christening gowns from Baby Dior.

And their mother...

Princes Charlene looked elegant in a Christian Dior Haute Couture 2015 ivory top with a matching knee-length A-line shaped dress and shoes. The ensemble featured a cropped top with 3/4 sleeves and was also finished with a fabulous pillbox hat. The look was inspired by a look from Raf Simons' Christian Dior Spring/Summer 2015 Haute Couture collection. The complete suit would probably cost in the vicinity of $50,000. It's all hand made and made-to-order, and therefore, one-of-a-kind.

They are accompanied by Charlene's brother Gareth Wittstock (left) and Nerine Pienaar (second left), who are Princess Gabriella's godparents. On the right is Albert's cousin Christopher Le Vine Jr and Diane de Polignac Nigra, who are Jacques' godparents

More Royal Couture...

Princess Caroline of Hanover: Prince Albert's sister. Princess Caroline, wore a periwinkle colored suit with slight hi-lo cropped jacket and slim below-the-knee matching pencil skirt. I am guessing it's Chanel Haute Couture but what I most love is THAT hat! #AtAGirl

Beatrice Borromeo in Valentino Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2013--Girlfriend and according to the tabloid press--will be marrying one of Princess Caroline's younger son, Pierre Casiraghi. The beautiful Beatrice--who comes from Italian aristocracy (of course!) wore a coat-dress valued at $40,000 from Valentino Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2013 collection. A) Of course she did, and B) that was like going to H & M for her.

Congratulations to the happy parents and beautiful twins! Lets hope those two keep the Haute Couture comin'!
