Royal Couture: Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco (the Princess wore Christian Dior Haute Couture) baptize their twins, Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques, who wore Baby Dior--Cathedral of Monaco
Today was the baptism of Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques--the twin children of Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco. It was a grand event, televised live for all the Monaco population...naturally.
Happy Parents Day: Prince Albert and Prince Charlene of Monaco with their children, Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques--Cathedral of Monaco

The couple were greeted by cheers as they posed for the crowds with their daughter Princess Gabriella and son Prince Jacques outside the Cathedral of Monaco after the ceremony. The twins are exactly five months old today; on December 10th, Princess Charlene gave birth via cesarean section. Despite being the younger, it will be Prince Jacques who succeeds his father on the throne, thanks to Monaco's continued use of Salic law which states that male heirs always take precedence over their older sisters. She did, however, get a title, becoming the Countess of Carlades, while Crown Prince Jacques is styled Marquis of Baux - a name always given to the first born son.
Baby Couture: The twins were dressed in traditional white christening gowns from Baby Dior.
And their mother...
Princes Charlene looked elegant in a Christian Dior Haute Couture 2015 ivory top with a matching knee-length A-line shaped dress and shoes. The ensemble featured a cropped top with 3/4 sleeves and was also finished with a fabulous pillbox hat. The look was inspired by a look from Raf Simons' Christian Dior Spring/Summer 2015 Haute Couture collection. The complete suit would probably cost in the vicinity of $50,000. It's all hand made and made-to-order, and therefore, one-of-a-kind.

On the right is Albert's cousin Christopher Le Vine Jr and Diane de Polignac Nigra, who are Jacques' godparents
More Royal Couture...
Princess Caroline of Hanover: Prince Albert's sister. Princess Caroline, wore a periwinkle colored suit with slight hi-lo cropped jacket and slim below-the-knee matching pencil skirt. I am guessing it's Chanel Haute Couture but what I most love is THAT hat! #AtAGirl
Beatrice Borromeo in Valentino Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2013--Girlfriend and according to the tabloid press--will be marrying one of Princess Caroline's younger son, Pierre Casiraghi. The beautiful Beatrice--who comes from Italian aristocracy (of course!) wore a coat-dress valued at $40,000 from Valentino Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2013 collection. A) Of course she did, and B) that was like going to H & M for her.
Congratulations to the happy parents and beautiful twins! Lets hope those two keep the Haute Couture comin'!
