WHO WORE WHAT?.....68th Annual Cannes Film Festival "Mad Max: Fury Road" Premiere Red Carpet: Charlize Theron, Fan Bingbing, Julianne Moore

Stars Dazzle at Cannes: (Left to right) Julianne Moore in Givenchy Haute Couture, Charlize theron in Christian Dior Haute Couture and Fan Bingbing in Marchesa Spring 2015--"Mad Max: Fury Road" Cannes 2015 Premiere

Last night was the premiere of "Mad Max: Fury Road" at the 68th Annual Cannes Film Festival and the stars were out in some of the most dazzling fashions on the red carpet. Let's take a look at some of my favorites, starting with actress Julianne Moore:

Julianne Moore in Givenchy Haute Couture: Actress Julianne Moore wore this wine red silk velvet one shoulder/one sleeved gown from Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci. Even though the iconic French fashion house stopped doing Haute Couture several seasons ago, it still will (obviously) make something special and one-of-kind for the A-List stars. This gown features a side front slit and crocodile skin boned bustier. I think the style is daring and quite dramatic and I love the color on Julianne Moore.

Charlize Theron in custom Dior Haute Couture: Naturally the star of "Mad Max: Fury Road", the South African-born beauty Charlize Theron, wore Dior. She is a Spokesmodel for the iconic French design house so...For last night's premiere she wore a one-of-a-kind custom Christian Dior Haute Couture gown. I say custom since it was not on the Dior Haute Couture runways so it was made especially for Theron. The lemon yellow strapless silk chiffon gown featured interesting princess seaming down the front and a very, very, very LONG dramatic train...

Perfect for the Cannes Red Carpet--I bet actress Fan Bingbing must have been jealous of that train since we know Bingbing loves a good train...

Now speaking of Fan Bingbing...

Fan Bingbing in Marchesa Spring 2015: Fan wore this silk tulle ball gown from Marchesa Spring 2015 collection. And in case you were wondering, it did have a slight train, of course. The gown also featured...

All these beautiful rose petal and leaf appliques, hand-sewn and hand-dyed, placed throughout the gown, creating this unique Rose Garden Queen effect. And naturally, she finished it off with a crown of flowers. Very ethereal, very romantic and I think, very pretty. As always, leave it to Fan to A) make an entrance and B) not be a wallfower, literally!

Naomi Watts in Ralph Lauren Fall 2015: Actress Naomi Watts attended the "Mad Max: Fury Road" Cannes Premiere in a black Guipure lace gown from Ralph Lauren Fall 2015. The strapless gown has an overlay of silk tulle lightly skimming the under lace gown creating a nice textural effect. I liked this dress on Naomi, I'm not sure if she need to accessorize with that necklace, however. What do you guys think?

Michelle Rodriguez in Zuhair Murad Spring 2015: Actress Michelle Rodriguez wore this super sexy and super-revealing gown from Zuhair Murad Spring 2015 collection. The silk tulle and nude illusion dress features black sequined appliques placed throughout the dress strategically covering all the right places.

WHO was YOUR favorite of this group? Charlize? Fan? Julianne? It's kind of a toss-up for me!

WHO WORE WHAT?.....68th Annual Cannes Film Festival Opening Ceremony: Fan Bingbing, Catherine Deneuve, Julianne Moore + Noemi Lenoir

Le Chic Gals: (Clockwise, left to right: Fan Bingbing, Catherine Deneuve, Clotilde Courau and Julianne Moore

The 68th Annual Cannes Film Festival has begun. And earlier tonight was the 2015 Cannes Film Festival Opening Ceremony and Premiere of "La Tete Haute" (Standing Tall) held at the Grand Theatre Lumiere, Palais des Festivals. As always, the stylish celebs were present in their Haute-est of Haute Couture showing spectacular style, glamour and Cannes Chic!

For this first posting, let's begin with Miss Fashion Diva Fan Bingbing:

Fan Bingbing in Ralph & Russo Spring 2015 Custom Couture: Chinese actress--and Fashion Muse--Fan Bingbing--is always one-to-watch, when it comes to the Cannes Film Festival red carpet. And she did not disappoint this year! Fan wore an off-the-shoulder custom gown from British design team Ralph & Russo; they're like the "Elie Saab" of the UK; gorgeous, elegant couture-worthy evening dresses for anyone who can afford the $100,000+ price tag or if you're an A-list celeb, you get it for free, as a loan. Miss Bingbing looked spectacular--as always--in this silk satin gown featuring a  green flower applique, fit-and-flare shape and exaggerated sleeve-capes. One word: STUNNING!

The gown is based on Ralph & Russo's most recent Spring 2015 Couture Collection (photos above) which featured lots of styles with that flower detail

Catherine Deneuve in Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture Spring 2015 Custom--French icon, actress Catherine Deneuve wore a black and fuchsia gown designed just for her by Jean Paul Gaultier. The black and bubblegum pink/fuchsia design was based on a style from his Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2015 Haute Couture collection (see photo above). Yes, it's very "Victor/Victoria" and many would think a bit cray-cray but...I LOVE IT! Miss Deneuve is a FASHION DIVA and seriously, anything she wears is a TEN in my book!

Clotilde Courau in Valentino Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2014: French actress--and Princess Clotilde of Venice and Piedmont (she is married to Emanuele Filiberto, Prince of Venice and Piedmont, and the son and heir of Vittorio Emanuele, Prince of Naples)--attended the 2015 Cannes Film Festival Opening Ceremony wearing Valentino Haute Couture Fall 2014. The sand-colored crepe gown with capelet/batwing sleeves is all hand-made and cost about $75,000. She didn't buy it darlings, so it was free to her. I thought she looked elegant. If only, it wasn't wrinkled from her limo ride. But, oh well.

Julianne Moore in Armani Prive Spring 2015: Actress Julianne Moore attended the 2015 Cannes Film Festival Opening Ceremony in a black sequined and feathered gown from Armani Prive Spring 2015 collection. I thought Julianne was FLAWLESS...

I thought it was interesting that the Armani Prive peeps (or Ms. Moore) decided (wisely) to eliminate the feathered effect on the skirt section and make the waist tie smaller. Both are good decisions. Oh, and notice how the top section is darker. This is Haute Couture AND Custom. In other words: very, very special. And expensive. But, alas,  not to Ms. Moore.

Noemi Lenoir in Chloe Spring 2015: Model and actress Noemi Lenoir showed her bay bump in this canary yellow hi-lo gown from Chloe Spring 2015 collection. I thought she looked fab!

WHO WORE WHAT?.....Met Gala 2015: Fan Bingbing, Sarah Jessica Parker, Chloe Sevigny, Zendaya + More!

Fan Bingbing in Christopher Bu--Now this is how you GIVE it!!! At the Met Gala 2015. Actress--and Fashion Diva--Fan Bingbing is always known to give 110% when it comes to the red carpet, and tonight's Met Gala was no exception. She wore a gold and copper sequined gown with a multicolored coat. I know the theme was "Asiana-inspired Diva" (or that's what I deem it to be!), but Bingbing is somehow vibing a bit of Nefertiti and Cleopatra with this AMAAAZING coat.

Sarah Jessica Parker in H & M and Philip Treacy--How do I say this politely? Ummm, no. Now, let me begin: I love me some SJP and I know that she has become known for her fab/over the top Philip Treacy headdresses at the Met Galas but...I do like this headdress style, I'm just not a fan of this H & M one shoulder gown. The dress seems like something a fashion school student would have created. No offense to the fashion school student; more of diss on the H & M design team. Oh, and should I even discuss the ripply seams??? Maybe not.

Chloe Sevigny in J W Anderson--I kinda love this strapless look on Chloe. She's very 1920s/1930's-Indiana-Jones-Lady-Friend in this ensemble.

Georgia May Jagger in Gucci--OK, first of all, I do like this dress--it's very Chinoiserie Chic and therefore fits the bill for the theme of the night. I also appreciate the strappy shoe design that is also inspired by traditional Chinese flats. I just wish she would put on a smile. You're the trust funder model daughter of Rock Legend Mick Jagger and Fashion Icon Jerry Hall, you should smile darling.

Karolina Kurkova in Tommy Hilfiger--I think this is a Met Gala Red Carpet No! I get that it's Karolia Kurkova and she's got LEGS that go on for DAYS!!!! And I do LOVE those shoes! (Sooooo Fab!), but...this Tommy Hilfilger (we all know HE didn't really design this...PUHLEEASE!), makes her look like she works at the bar of a Las Vegas Casino. I know that sounds harsh but seriously!!??

Zendaya in Fausto Puglisi--I'm kinda loving this look on Zendaya. It's very "Versace Vintage circa 1992". For that alone, I'm giving both Zendaya and designer Fausto Puglisi points!
