Gown Fab: Miss Lebanon 2015 Beauty Pageant

Last night were the Finals of the Miss Lebanon 2015 Beauty Pageant at Casino du Liban in a glamorous televised event. The winner was 23-year-old Valerie Abou Chacra. She's 5' 8" tall and a student at the American University in Lebanon. Valerie beat out thirteen other beautiful contestants vying for the coveted "Miss Lebanon" crown. She will now represent her country at the next Miss Universe 2015 contest which is slated for December 20th in Las Vegas, according to some Pageant News sources.

Now, time for the fabulous EVENING GOWNS--Last year, I did a blog post HERE about the "Miss Lebanon 2014" contest and how amazing it was to see an entire Evening Gown Competition (in the pageant world) where the gowns were all by fashion designer Zuhair Murad and his Haute Couture collection.

And it was the same case this year once again (almost). Murad was one of the judges and all the thirteen contestants wore designs from his Zuhair Murad Resort 2016 collection. It wasn't Zuhair Murad Haute Couture but close enough. While being Ready-to-Wear, each of these gowns could retail at $10,000+ (his Haute Couture creations go from $45,000-$250,000+).
