WHO WORE WHAT?.....68th Annual Cannes Film Festival Opening Ceremony Red Carpet: Sienna Miller, Karlie Kloss, Naomi Watts, Isabella Rossellini

Les Plus Belles: Red Carpet Goddesses at last night's 68th Annual cannes Film Festival Opening Ceremony Red Carpet (Clockwise, from the top: Sienna Miller, Naomi Watts, Karlie Kloss, Doutzen Kroes and Liya Kebede

Continuing with some of the Best Dressed of last night's 68th Annual Cannes Film Festival Opening Ceremony Red Carpet--here's a mix of actresses and models looking superFAB...let's begin with 2015 Cannes Jury Member, actress Sienna Miller:

Sienna Miller in Lanvin: Member of the Cannes 2015 Jury, actress Sienna Miller wore a very elegant navy blue column gown from Lanvin, designed by Alber Elbaz. The one shoulder gown featured an interesting twist knot/bow highlighting the shoulder.

Cannes 2015 Jury: (Left to right) Jake Gyllenhaal, Joel Cohen, Sophie Marceau, Rokia Traore, Ethan Cohen, Sienna Miller, Xavier Dolan, Guillermo del Toro, Rossy De Palma--Cannes 2015 Opening Ceremony Premiere of "La Tete Haute" Red Carpet

Supermodel Karlie Kloss in Atelier Versace Fall 2014: As a model, naturally, Karlie looks good in pretty much anything. Here she is in this original look from Atelier Versace Fall 2014 collection. The silver sequined hand-sewn Couture design is a pant/gown with an asymmetrical exposed side and bandeau and gold plated side belt/buckles. Yes, GOLD PLATED darlings. There's pretty much NO ONE--except for Liza Minnelli circa 1979--who could get away with wearing this kind of ensemble so Kudos to Miss Kloss.

Model Chic: Model Doutzen Kroes (left) wore an ivory silk crepe column one shoulder gown from Atelier Versace Spring 2015. The gown features a very daring torso "cut-out" and super-high side slit. Naturally, "Victoria's Secret" Supermodel Doutzen can pull it off. Next to her is model Liya Kebede in a short cocktail number from Louis Vuitton Fall 2015. The silver and gold silk lame dress was shortened (as you can see above in the photo) for Liya. I guess she wanted it a teeny bit more mini.

Actress Leila Bekhti in Giambattista Valli Couture: French film and TV actress of Algerian descent Leila Bekhti made quite an entrance in a Ballet Pink strapless gown from Giambattista Valli Haute Couture. The hi-lo silk duchesse ball gown was based on a look from the designer's Fall 2013 Haute Couture collection (see top photo, above), and features a long train, dramatic enough for the Cannes red carpet, with layers of tulle underneath giving it support.

Hofit Golan in Jean Fares Couture: I wasn't sure who Hofit was so naturally, I Googled her and THIS is what I came up with--She's a "socialite"/"spokesmodel"/TV reporter for FashionTV, and most notably, attends EVERY red carpet event she's invited to. And thank goodness for me, she's all done up in a couture like this above at last night's Cannes 2015 Opening Night Ceremony. Her gown is very frothy and very "Miss Universe". It's from Lebanese design company Jean Fares Couture. Hofit wears A LOT of Jean Fares' designs. The design company has this Facebook Page but no actual website. The nude tulle with black lace applique gown made quite an impression on the Cannes 2015 red carpet; I can only imagine how many yards and yards and yards of silk tulle were used on this creation.

Isabella Rossellini in Stella McCartney Custom: Attending the premiere of "Le Tout Haute" and Cannes 2015 Film Festival Opening Ceremony, Isabella Rossellini wore this white column silk crepe gown with attached multicolored cape. I love the bold colors and geo prints on the cape and the style is very "Alta Moda" and right for Isabella. The only thing is I wish it wasn't wrinkled in the front. But, what can you do, she probably sat in that limo for a very LOONG time before getting out to do the red carpet, and this was the result. Next time, lay flat Ms. Rossellini.

Naomi Watts in Elie Saab Haute Couture Spring 2015: One of my favorite red carpet moments from last night's Cannes 2015 Opening Ceremony was actress Naomi Watts in this gunmetal gray ball gown from Elie Saab Haute Couture Spring 2015. While many fashion amateurs may dismiss it as a "Gray Big Bird", I completely disagree; this is a stunning, very dramatic gown that has all the elements of a an entrance-making look perfect for Cannes...

The gown--which probably goes for $150,000+ in case anyone reading this is interested in ordering it--is completely hand-made with the top in a very thin silk chiffon covered in sequins while the skirt is in a heavy silk satin with hand sewn feathers. It's also a minor technological feat to achieve it plunging in the front and so open in the back; kudos to the Elie Saab atelier. I also LOVE that gorgeous necklace she accessorizes the gown with. Well done Naomi. Now, go return the gown back to Elie Saab safely and very carefully.
