Lovebirds: Pierre Casiraghi and Beatrice Borromeo wed at a civil wedding in Monaco's Salon des Glace at the Pink Palace--The Bride wore blush colored Valentino Haute Couture Custom
On Saturday, Pierre Casiraghi, 27, married 29-year-old Beatrice Borromeo. WHO's WHO?
*Beatrice is a member of the ancient aristocratic House of Borromeo--a family that has owned the Borromean Islands in Italy since the 16th century.
*She has done some modeling previously but in case you are wondering she really has no job. Hello!! She's a Borromeo socialite!
*And Pierre, well, his Wikipedia states that he's a "businessman" and is part owner of his uncle--Prince Albert's--construction company Engeco. So, yeah, he also doesn't really work. he loves sailing and going to parties. What else would you expect darlings?
Palace Wedding: The civil ceremony itself was an intimate affair, attended by 70 guests and taking place in the reception room reserved for the reigning sovereign's official family functions at the distinctive salmon-pink Prince's Palace (lower photo) and Salon des Glaces (top photo)
The Couture:
Blush Lace Haute Couture Silk: Pierre Casiraghi (Left) and Beatrice Borromeo (Right) posing for pictures on the balcony--Beatrice wore a Custom pink and gold lace Valentino Haute Couture gown, designed by creative directors, Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli. The designers posted a picture of Beatrice wearing the romantic chiffon gown with gold lace on the Valentino Instagram feed as she gazed into the eyes of her new husband.
The Borromeo family have a close ties with the House of Valentino--Beatrice's sisters also wore Valentino for their weddings.
Post Wedding:
Post Civil Ceremony: After the Civil Ceremony, there was a post-Wedding Party at the opulent Monte Carlo Hôtel de Paris in the evening....
Haute Arrival: The bride, Beatrice changed into a floor-length white silk organza evening gown for that night's festivities at the five-star Hôtel de Paris...
The Party Gown: Beatrice's second gown was a $100,000 Valentino Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2015 ball gown with hand sewn sequins and writing-applique
In case you think this was the end of the Pierre-Beatrice Wedding...think again! This Saturday's Civil Ceremony will be followed by a more lavish, religious wedding in Italy, in the bride's native Borromeo Islands. Can't wait for the Valentino Haute Couture we'll see then!
Stay Tuned...
Summerish glam
EN
This dress is from far one of my favorites, I bought it a few years ago from an outlet, and the label says it is from Zara although I do not remember that Zara have had such a collection. I confess that I loved it the first time I saw it and even now after so many years, has a place of honor in my dressing. The model is very feminine and sexy and is also airy being suitable for this hot summer days. Today's approach is summerish, wedges sandals and the wicker bag makes a fresh look all together with the raw green of the dress. Another matching would be with an elegant pair of fuchsia sandals and a biker jacket or if you don't dare too much green goes well with nude or brown accessories.
Stay fashion!

Statement fashion
EN
I love the lace items which is why with every year passing more and more such pieces make their way into my dressing. The black lace top I recently and randomly purchased from a store in Iasi, in which you would not expect to find something nice. Often, we are so accustomed to frequent malls that we just forget the beauty of walking through the narrow streets packed with all kinds of boutiques and outlets where we can find unique or at least some uncommon items than the "uniforms" from malls. Not to tell about prices, most often overpriced that big stores are practicing. As a (near) future project of mine is buying a sewing machine to express my creativity and passion for all what means clothing design.
Another statement item is the necklace, a model that I was looking to find it for a while I bought it from a stall, a family business of a very cute couple united by the love for each others along with the love for beauty and handmade jewelry. For those interested in some fine pieces, you can enter here.
